Quick reference

Cal Hampton

Cal is Jason's close friend. Rockstar describes him as an introverted conspiracy theorist surrounded by electronic gadgets. He listens to Coast Guard communications and stays indoors a lot. He is also an associate of Brian Heder, which places him in the Keys crowd.

He shows up at a bar with Lucia and Jason in the second trailer. One report from gameplay footage has him on a fishing boat, telling the pair to enjoy their youthReported7. Vinnie Vice — GTA 6 Side Characters Are WAY More Important Than We Thought.

Some fans think Cal could play a role like Lester in GTA 5, snooping on communicationsSpeculation2. pcgamer.com — GTA 6 characters: Everyone we know about so far8. insider-gaming.com — All Confirmed Characters in GTA 6. That is speculation. Rockstar hasn't described his gameplay function.

Brian Heder

Brian is an established smuggler based in the Keys. He runs Brian's Marina and lives with his third wife, Lori. Rockstar calls him a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. Another description has him as an older dealer who has been active since the start of the drug boom and profits without handling the product.

He is Jason's anchor. Brian lets Jason live rent-free in one of his properties in exchange for local shakedown errands. One description places him at a boat works and marina, where he employs Jason.

What the trailers and footage show:

• Lori Heder appears armed with an assault rifle in promotional footage. In the extended trailer she talks about Brian's younger smuggling years.
• In one scene Brian warns Jason that the authorities have obtained his name, address and personal information.
• Brian offers Lucia and Jason a shady job from a third party, but only one of them can take it.

Dre'Quan Priest

Dre'Quan is Boobie Ike's business partner at Only Raw Records and is responsible for recruiting talent. Rockstar describes him as more of a hustler than a gangster, someone who wants to break into music.

He signed Real Dimez. He may also stop booking acts at Boobie's strip club as he targets the wider Vice City scene. One report calls Only Raw Records Dre'Quan's own labelReported2. pcgamer.com — GTA 6 characters: Everyone we know about so far. Real Dimez

Real Dimez is a rap duo made up of lifelong friends Baylux and Roxy. They got famous through a hit single with local rapper DWNPLY and then signed with Only Raw Records. Rockstar's profile says they use their hustling past to make money through rap and social media.
